"Since it was July, I think I'll have to go with David DeSante and call this the 'Silent Summer Effect' as well...It's really a dead zone. There are no butterflies, no birds. Very few, and it's very, very clearly the result of the radiation contaminants." (Excerpt from a presentation at Pt. Reyes, CA 9/2/2015) See Fukushima Contamination- Part 2 video below.
The above quote is a reference to 'Deadly Deceit--Low Level Radiation, High Level Cover-Up' chapter 3, titled 'Silent Summer,' which is about ornithologist Dr. David DeSante's observations regarding the probable effects of Chernobyl radiation on landbirds at the Point Reyes Bird Observatory and its similarity to changes in bird populations and insects in Japan since the Fukushima disaster. 'Deadly Deceit.......' was written by Jay M. Gould and Benjamin Goldman with Kate Millpointer, and published April 22, 1990 by Four Walls Eight Windows.
Google has assigned '404' errors to all links to all reprints of the Chapter 'Silent Summer.' Just google Kate Millpointer; Silent Summer and you will find the chapter. Or you can find the version that predates the book published by 'In These Times' in November 1988 as a cover story under the same title--'Silent Summer.' The two versions are quite different and together tell the rest of the story. Sorry for the inconvenience--Google has removed almost all of the references to 'Deadly Deceit' from the Web, including other works. I will eventually get all of the background material posted on this site, God willing.
Here's the latest on the USS Ronald Reagan lawsuit. People need to understand what a travesty this is and how insidious the orchestrated campaign to turn the truth upside down with fairy tales about how radiation is harmless--or actually good for you! Link below:
